Ep. 114: The Lord Looks at the Heart

In Podcast Episode 114, “The Lord Looks at the Heart,” Kim discusses the importance of looking past the outward appearance of others and seeing their hearts. Sometimes, we may struggle to do this even with the person we see in the mirror. 

The primary scripture text for this episode is 1 Samuel 16:1-7 with the key verses 7:

 

7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
